The course “Application of Epidemiological Methods in Aging Research” organised by Laura Fratiglioni, Debora Rizzuto and Amaia Calderón Larrañaga from ARC’s Medical Group ended last Friday (12th May). Around thirty students participated in this one-week course covering fundamental aspects of health in older age -such as cognitive and physical function, frailty, chronic diseases and multimorbidity-, together with methodological challenges in geriatric epidemiology. We want to thank the KI Doctoral Programme in Neuroscience and the Strategic Research Area in Epidemiology (SfoEpi) for their financial support, as well as all lectures from KI and other international universities for their high quality contributions.
