A delegation from Siberian State Medical University visited KI on March 12. The delegation consisted of Prof. Olga Kobyakova, Rector of Siberian State Medical University, Prof. Evgeny Kulikov, Vice-Rector for postgraduate education and research, and Prof. Olga Fedorova, Dean of the General Medicine Department. Aging research is one of three main scientific focuses of Siberian State Medical University and therefore there was a great interest in meeting with reseachers from ARC.

Johan Fritzell, Director of ARC, presented an overview of the research conducted at ARC. Alexander Mattsson-Darin, database coordinator, gave a presentation of the National E-infrastructure for Aging Research (NEAR).
