Xin Xia is a PhD student at Aging Research Center. Xin’s doctoral project focuses on relationship of blood pressure patterns with cognitive aging outcomes in old age, which is planned within the Swedish National study on Aging and Care in Kungsholmen population study (SNAC-K). Her research is supervised by Dr. C Qiu, together with Dr. R Wang, Dr. EJ Laukka, and Dr. DL Vetrano.
Xin completed her undergraduate education in Preventive Medicine in Soochow University, Jiangsu Province, China and obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health Sciences-Epidemiology from Karolinska Institutet. During the master programme, she completed a summer internship in Imperial College London where she was involved in data analysis for May Measurement Month, a global campaign to raise awareness of high blood pressure.
