Nicola Payton is a postdoctoral researcher working with Erika Jonsson Laukka in the Psychology Sector at ARC and with Miia Kivipelto at the Division of Clinical Geriatrics. Nicola’s research is focusing on the effectiveness of cognitive and biological biomarkers as predictors of dementia in preclinical populations.
She graduated from Nottingham University in 2014 with a master’s degree in Brain Imaging. This was followed by an internship at the Wolfson Molecular Imaging Center, University of Manchester.
