Merle Hendel graduated from a research master in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience with a specialization in Neuropsychology in the Netherlands. She did her master thesis under the supervision of Davide Liborio Vetrano and is now continuing to work as a research assistant under his supervision. Merle will work on the impact of acute clinical events (with a focus on pneumonia and stroke) on cognitive and physical function in older individuals.
