Joan Ars Ricart is a physiotherapist, MSc in prescription of therapeutic physical activity in chronic diseases and ageing and PhD Student in the research group on ageing, frailty and transitions (REFiT-Barcelona).
His main supervisor is Marco Inzitari, with whom ARC has been collaborating for several years.
Joan will be a visiting researcher for a couple of months from 16 January 2023 and then will continue to collaborate with ARC throughout 2023.
Joan has previous experience working with ActivPal, the accelerometer we use in SNAC-K. He will work with Anna-Karin Welmer and Amaia Calderón-Larrañaga to extract data on sedentary behaviour and physical activity from the devices and try to see patterns of sedentary behaviour.
