Emil Norrman is working as a Research Assistant in a project entitled “Long-lasting cognitive and olfactory deficits following mild COVID-19 – modifying factors, brain correlates, and prognostic impact for well-being and daily functioning”. The project is led by associate professor Erika Jonsson Laukka. As a research assistant Emil is administering cognitive testing, magnetic resonance imaging and collecting data.
His Bachelor Thesis investigated how IQ in adolescence and conscientiousness can predict income. His interest areas include developing and degenerating cognitive abilities across the lifespan, brain structures and networks associated with intelligence and other cognitive abilities as well as various topics regarding the neuroscience of aging.
