Charlotte McNulty is a PhD student at the Aging Research Center under the main supervision of Alireza Salami. Her doctoral project explores functional brain correlates of cognitive decline in aging using advanced functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) techniques. The purpose of the project is to provide a clearer understanding of brain function in older adults and contribute to the development of better diagnostic and therapeutic tools.
Charlotte graduated from the Open University with a Bachelor (BSc) in Psychology and Umeå University with a Master (MSc) in Cognitive Science.
