Caterina Gregorio is a PhD student at the Department of Mathematics of Politecnico di Milano (Italy). Her research focuses on methods in biostatistics to study chronic diseases with the aim of developing tools to inform clinical and epidemiological decision-making. Her interest areas are multistate models, models for longitudinal and time-to-event data, causal inference and functional data analysis. At ARC, she works in Debora Rizzuto’s group on two projects. The first is a NEAR project regarding cardiovascular risk and ageing and the second one aims at studying the long-term impact of dementia in an individualized manner.
Caterina has a bachelor’s degree in statistics from the University of Trieste (Italy) and a master’s degree in statistics from the University of Padova (Italy). Currently, he is also part of the Biostatistics Unit at the University of Trieste (Italy).
