In several of the municipalities in Sweden worst affected by the corona pandemic, the time spent in care homes is relatively short. On average, old people in Sweden tend to live in care homes for about two years, from moving in until time of death. However, the average time is shorter in most of the municipalities where the pandemic has hit hardest.
