The Stockholm Gerontology Research Center invites you to a conference where the recent results of the Swedish National Study on Aging and Care (SNAC) will be discussed in light of the health and aging policies of the coming decade. SNAC is a large, longitudinal study of aging and care in four areas in Sweden.
The conference will take place on May 20, 2015. Several well-known social commentators will present their views of the dementia situation, and recent results on dementia from the SNAC study will be presented.
The goals of the day are to provide a background for the discussion of future dementia-related problems and to help ensure that the results of the SNAC project are used a guide for future policy decisions.
