Johan Fritzell and Johan Rehnberg organized a workshop May 28 in Aula Medica within the Nordic project Inequality Impacts. The project is primarily looking at poverty, income, and its association with mortality, as well as mortality risks among disadvantaged groups such as migrants and unemployed. The workshop involved leading scholars from the Nordic countries such as Espen Dahl, Pekka Martikainen, Jon Ivar Elstad, Olle Lundberg, Marijke Veenstra and more.
The Inequality Impacts project is funded by the Joint Committee for Nordic Research Councils for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (NOS-HS), project no. 219643/F10, PI Johan Fritzell.
