The Swedish Council for Working Life and Social Research has awarded program grants to ARC professors Marti Parker and Lars Bäckman. Each will receive two million Swedish crowns per year for the next three years with the potential for three additional years of financing.
Professor Parker’s project is entitled “Aging in context: Health trends, inequalities and lifestyle in the aging population.” Professor Bäckman’s is called “Cognitive aging: From observational studies to intervention.”
