The junior researchers at ARC had a very successful retreat at Näsby slott on 13th of May. Juniors from the three different sectors presented their research and engaged in interesting and constructive discussions.
In the afternoon, Anethe Mansén from the KI Careers Office had a presentation on career planning within and outside academia. Subsequently the juniors had focus group discussions related to this topic. Discussion topics included challenges and how to plan your future career and alternative careers after the PhD or Postdoc period. The junior retreat ended with a very nice dinner.
ARC Junior Research Group’s coordinators, Shireen Sindi and Linnea Sjöberg, thank all of the juniors for the high participation rate as well as their engagement and positive attitude! They also thank the Graduate Research School on Health and Aging at ARC for financial support.
