Mats Thorslund_Forte talksThe Aging Research Center participated in Forte Talks at the end of March. Forte Talks is a conference that aims to be a meeting point between research and practice within the area of health, working life and welfare. Three ARC professors — Lars Bäckman, Mats Thorslund, and Miia Kivipelto — spoke at the event, and Professor Johan Fritzell participated in a seminar. Postdoctoral researchers Bettina Meinow, Debora Rizzuto and Goran Papenberg and doctoral students Anna Marseglia, Beata Ferencz, and Charlotta Nielsen presented posters.

ARC had a booth in the exhibition area where we displayed material and answered questions about ARC and the other organizations in the House of Aging Research—the Stockholm Gerontology Research Center, Swedish Dementia Centre, and the magazine Older People in Focus (Äldre i Centrum). The opportunity to discuss aging research with interested delegates was much appreciated.
