Aging Brain Conference in honour of Professor Lars Bäckman

Erika Jonsson Laukka (ARC), Martin Lövdén (University of Gothenburg), and Lars Nyberg (Umeå University) took the initiative of organising a conference with the title Aging Brain: Memory, Plasticity and Dopamine, in honour of Professor Lars Bäckman, who holds a professorship in Cognitive Neuroscience at ARC.

The event took place on 26 August 2022 and was held at Karolinska Institutet, in Eva & Georg lecture hall in Biomedicum. The programme included three sessions on Memory and Aging, Plasticity and aging, and Dopamine and aging, during which a number of presentations were made by both national and international researchers specialising in these particular fields.
